Do you know me?
I am told not to judge others, even when it’s so obvious that they are not good people.
I know that I should be able to forgive those who’ve done me wrong, yet I find myself getting angry at their very sight.
I am appalled by all the sex on television, in the movies, and the clothes that some women wear, but I catch myself lusting after them in my mind.
I’m told not to lie, but the lies roll off my lips as if they were the truth.
I’m a liar

I’m devious
I’m self-centered

God, help me to become the man that I claim to be.

Friend, you are not told this. Matthew 7:16-20 commands you to judge the fruit. Matthew 7:1 warns you not to "mis-judge", or judge others in a way you are not willing to judge yourself. There is an important distinction here.

I am going to go out on a limb here, but I think its safe to say that Goliath needs some real prayer. I wish I could meet him and pray with him, hands over him with other Christiahs.
